Migrate from DeltaV Live
IOTA VUE provides automated migration of DeltaV Live HMI graphics. This is particularly valuable as DeltaV Operate approaches end-of-life (2030), and there is no native tool to convert DeltaV Live screens to PI Vision. IOTA VUE fills this gap with a direct conversion path.
Migration also enables safe access for business users — engineers, managers, and analysts can view operational graphics through IOTA VUE without being added to the DCS control network.
Migration Steps
- Select source — Choose the DeltaV Live graphics directory
- Choose displays — Browse and select screens to migrate
- Configure tag mapping (optional) — The conversion tool includes tag mapping logic to convert DeltaV tag references to their IOTA VUE equivalents
- Select destination — Export to file or direct connection to IOTA VUE
- Run bulk migration
